Scope and our approach

This policy explains how Passiona handles personal data collected through passiona.ai. Passiona is an AI-literacy programme for schools in Hong Kong.

We design the public site to minimise personal-data collection. It has no visitor accounts, student profiles or behavioural advertising.

Enquiries and purpose of collection

When an adult submits an enquiry, we collect the name, school or organisation, and chosen enquiry type supplied in the form. Email address, WhatsApp number and enquiry details are optional.

We use these details only to respond to the requested free introductory lesson, demo, programme, partnership or funding enquiry, maintain an accurate record of that conversation, and arrange requested follow-up. Supplying the required fields is necessary for us to respond; optional fields are not required.

• Please do not submit children’s personal data, sensitive information or unnecessary personal details in the enquiry form.
• We do not use enquiry details for direct marketing unless we first obtain the consent required by applicable law.

Children and learning tools

The public website does not ask children to create accounts or provide names, contact details or other personal identifiers.

Where a learning activity uses live camera or microphone input, that input is intended to be processed on the device in memory for the activity. It is not used to create a child profile or retained by passiona.ai.

Cookies, logs and embedded media

We set the essential NEXT_LOCALE cookie to remember the language you choose. It expires after one year, is limited to this site, and does not contain your name or contact details.

Our hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP address, browser, device and server log data to deliver, secure and diagnose the site. Product demonstration videos load from YouTube only after you press Play; YouTube may then process data under its own policies.

Service providers and sharing

Passiona uses Cloudflare to host and deliver the website. If a lead-forwarding destination is configured, the adult enquiry details are sent securely to that service only so our team can respond. We require service providers to handle data for these purposes and with appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal data or disclose it for unrelated advertising. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a lawful business transfer.

Retention and security

We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship, meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute. We then delete or anonymise it where practicable.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the data and service, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask whether we hold your personal data and request access or correction. You may also ask us to delete enquiry data where applicable. Send the request through the site enquiry form and include enough information for us to identify the relevant record.

We handle requests in accordance with applicable law, including the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. This policy may change when our practices or the service changes; the date above shows the latest version.
